Apple Business or Apple School

Your first step is signing up. Before you begin, you must satisfy a few basic requirements. If you are a business, you must have a Dun & Bradstreet D‑U‑N‑S Number. Don’t have one? Go here to get one. If you are a school, reach out to your Apple EDU Rep for assistance or simply sign up online. The process is simple. Complete the form, wait for Apple to call, provide proof that you are who you claim to be, and then link your Apple Business account to your favorite reseller. Once setup, all hardware purchases should be bought under the program, linking the physical devices to your legal entity. Apple School is very similar but has some additional features. Work with your school to get setup. Many schools were automatically converted in the Summer of 2017 so you may already have access.

Device Enrollment pRogram (DEP)

The key feature of Apple Business and Apple School is the Device Enrollment Program. All hardware purchased (through Apple Business, Apple Education, Authorized Resellers, or ACN Sales Portals) can be linked to your business entity.
